Bonus Bears on 918Kiss (SCR888): a Symbol-by-Symbol Look at the Forest Slot

Bonus Bears is a cartoon forest slot that sits in a lot of the Malaysian app lobbies, and the 918Kiss version keeps the look of the Playtech-style original: pine trees, snowy mountains, a honey-coloured logo and bees buzzing across the top. This page goes through what is on the reels, since that is where most of the game's personality lives.

The reel layout

Five reels, three rows, and 25 paylines marked by the numbered tabs down both sides (24, 4, 12, 20 and so on on the left, 6, 2, 25, 16 on the right). A win draws a line across the reels in teal and the top bar reports it, for example "You won on 4 lines".

The symbols, from the top down

• Grizzly bear: the star of the game, drawn with a scowl and framed in orange. He tends to land in the middle reels.
• Ranger: a red-haired park ranger in a khaki uniform and hat.
• Skunk: holding a bunch of flowers, which is a nice touch.
• Bee: an angry-looking wasp-style bee, which turns up often and fills whole reels at times.
• Beehive: a big golden hive. In the Playtech original, the hive is the symbol tied to the honey bonus round where the bear goes after the hives; the version in this lobby looks the same, but the screenshots do not show the feature triggering, so check the paytable (menu icon, top right) before you count on it.
• Picnic basket: red-checked, a mid-level picture symbol.
• Card ranks: A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 in bubbly colours. These are the low payers and make up most of your small wins.

Jackpot bar and controls

Along the top sit three meters: Major, Random and Minor. The figures change between spins (the Major reads 1401.66 in one screenshot and 802.57 in another), so treat them as live displays rather than fixed prizes.

The bottom bar is plain. Line with minus and plus, bet with minus and plus, a win readout, then auto start and spin. While the reels are moving, spin turns into stop.

Pacing it on a small balance

At 25 lines and 0.25 total, a RM30 balance gives well over a hundred spins, which is the right speed for a game whose wins mostly come from the bees and the card ranks. Cutting lines lowers the cost per spin, but it also leaves positions where a bear or hive can land without paying, so most players keep all 25 active and adjust the bet instead.
