Belangkai on 918Kiss (SCR888): Reading the Board Under the Brass Dome

Belangkai is not a slot. It is a small table game in the 918Kiss lobby built around one question: which symbol is under the brass dome? A hand lifts the cover, the symbol shows, and every bet on the blue board is paid or cleared. That is the whole round, and it runs quickly.

The game borrows from the traditional Malaysian and Chinese betting games that use a covered result, and the board layout will look familiar to anyone who has seen a fan-tan table.

The four symbols and the board

Each side of the square carries one symbol: a fish at the top, a prawn on the left, a sun on the right and a pointed crest-like emblem at the bottom. Those are the only possible results.

The numbers around them are the payouts:

• 3.90 on each side: a bet on that one symbol.
• 1.95 in the circles at the four corners: covers the two symbols that meet at that corner, so it wins on either.
• 2.90 in the corner triangles and the inner band: narrower combination bets that sit between a single symbol and a pair. Tap the menu icon (top right) to read exactly which results each 2.90 spot pays and which it refunds before you use them.
• 1.95 boxes around the centre cross: more two-symbol bets, shown once the dome is lifted out of the way.

The maths is simple enough to check. Four symbols means a 1-in-4 chance on a single pick, so a fair payout would be 4.00; the board pays 3.90. Two symbols is 1-in-2, which would be 2.00 fair; the board pays 1.95. That small shave on every spot is how the house makes its margin, and no pattern of bets gets round it.

Placing chips in the 918Kiss version

Chips sit in a row along the bottom: 0.5, 1, 5, 10 and 50. Pick a chip, tap a spot, and it stacks. The panel on the right of the chips shows MIN: 0.5 and MAX: 500, which is the table limit. On the left you get your Bet, Win and Balance, and after a round a gold Rebet button appears to repeat the last layout.

The History column on the right lists the last six results as small symbol icons. It is a record, not a forecast.

Pacing a session

Because rounds are fast, a RM30 balance can disappear quicker than it would on a slot. A flat 0.5 chip on one symbol per round keeps things slow, and the corner 1.95 bets give you more frequent small wins if you prefer less swing. Decide your stop point before the first lift.
