SKY777: How the Lobby, MPV Bets and Jackpots Work

SKY777 is the tidiest lobby of the group. Everything is gold on black, the tabs are clearly labelled, and every game tile tells you how many lines it has before you open it. The part that confuses new players is the money: bets and balances show in MPV, not ringgit.

We start there, because once you can read the bet bar, the rest of SKY777 is straightforward.

Reading the bet bar: MPV, denomination, line and bet

In Wong Po, the bottom bar reads:

• Line 25
• Bet 1
• Total Bet MPV 0.25
• Win MPV 0.00
• Denomination 0.01
• Balance MPV 25.76

So the maths is usually Line x Bet x Denomination: 25 x 1 x 0.01 = 0.25 per spin. Raise Bet to 2 and it doubles. Change the denomination and everything scales with it.

"Usually" matters. Zeus also shows Line 25 and Bet 1, but a small red label above the bar says 40 Credits, and Total Bet reads MPV 0.40. Some games charge a fixed number of credits per spin that is not the same as the line count. Always read Total Bet, not just Line and Bet.

Emperor Gate uses the same pieces in a different order (Denomination, Line, Bet, Total Bet, Win) with 50 lines, so the same 1 x 0.01 costs MPV 0.50. Same bet setting, twice the price, because of the line count.

Before topping up, ask the agent what one MPV is worth in RM on your account and write it down. Every figure in the game only means something once you know that.

The lobby tabs

Across the top of the lobby: a coin icon, your balance with a wallet symbol, the jackpot bar, and sound, mail and settings buttons. Below it, the tabs:

• Live Casino, which carried a red "Coming Soon" label when we used it

Each game tile has its line count in the top-left corner. On the All tab that ranged from 5 lines (Soccer Mania) and 15 (Big Prosperity, Dragon Gold) to 20 (Lucky Koi) and 50 (Lion Emperor, Indian Myth).

That label is the most useful thing on the screen. On a small balance, pick fewer lines so each spin costs less.

Jackpots with names

SKY777 names its jackpots. The lobby bar showed Holy Jackpot: 5012.77 in one session and Platinum 100.00 in another. Inside the games there are more: Emperor Gate had a Crystal Jackpot banner at 14916.02, and Great China a winged World Wonders badge at 19336.66.

As on every platform, the app does not tell you how often these pay. Treat them as part of the scenery.

Chinese fortune slots

This is SKY777's core. Wong Po sets gold gourds, lucky bamboo and bagua mirrors on red reels against a bamboo forest. Wong Choy, Zhao Cai Jin Bao, Tian Jiang Cai Shen, Wow Prosperity and Zong Hua Zhi Zui (Great China) all work variations on the same luck-and-wealth theme.

Legends and warriors

Emperor Gate (Zhan Wu Men) has scrolls and bronze wine cups on its reels, plus Gamble Game and Fast Spin buttons on the right. Xi You Ji Golden Journey and Xian Tao Yan Yi Magic Journey draw on Journey to the West. Tiger Warrior and Zeus cover the fighting side.

Everything else

The Tarzan and WorldCup Golden Boot round out the list with jungle and football themes.

Two generations of game screen

SKY777 games come in two visual styles, and it helps to recognise them.

The older style, seen in Wong Po and Zeus, has a small version tag in the top-left corner (dated 2016), a slide-out arrow on the left edge, and a round red Spin button on the right that says "Hold for Autoplay". The bet bar runs Line, Bet, Total Bet, Win, Denomination, Balance.

The newer style, seen in Emperor Gate and Great China, has a named jackpot banner at the top, Gamble Game and Fast Spin buttons on the right, and a big red Spin with "Hold for Auto Spin" underneath. The bet bar starts with an info button and Denomination instead.

In both, one long press on Spin starts autoplay. Know that before your thumb rests on it. The Gamble Game button on newer titles usually lets you risk a win for a chance to increase it; skip it if you are playing to a budget.

Devices

The 2018 download page listed two builds: an iPhone app and an Android APK. Neither came from an official store. On Android you have to allow installs from an unknown source; on iPhone you have to trust an enterprise developer profile. Only do either for a file from someone you trust.
