Achilles is a Trojan War slot with a sand-and-sea backdrop and the walls of Troy behind the reels. It is an old-school line game: 5 reels, 3 rows, up to 20 paylines, and a wild that pays big in its own right. The paytable, symbol by symbol

The first help page tells you most of what matters.

• Achilles is the substitute. He stands in for everything except the scatter, and five of him on a line pays 10,000. Unusually, a single Achilles on a line pays 2 and two pay 25.
• Helen is the top regular symbol: 5,000 for five, 1,000 for four, 100 for three and 5 for two.
• The Trojan horse pays 1,250 / 500 / 100 / 3 for five down to two.
• The shield and the red banner share a box: 800 / 200 / 30 / 2.
• Card ranks: A and K pay 400 / 50 / 10, Q and J pay 250 / 30 / 5, and 10 and 9 pay 200 / 25 / 5.
• Troy is the scatter. It pays in any position and the win is multiplied by the total bet.

Everything else pays left to right on active lines only.

Jackpot meters

Three boxes sit over the reels: Minor, Random Jackpot and Major. The random jackpot in the screenshots is a little over 11,200 and ticks up between spins. The Minor and Major values change with your bet (1,000 and 1,300 at 20 lines x 0.10, 700 and 1,000 at a smaller bet), so they are clearly scaled rather than fixed. How the random jackpot is triggered is not explained on the screens shown here.

Setting the bet

The control bar is simple: Lines with up and down arrows, Bet (per line) with its own arrows, then the total and the last win. With 20 lines at 0.10 the total is 2.00.

The third screenshot shows why cheap bets can still return something. With 5 lines at 0.02, the Trojan horse on reel 1 plus Achilles on reel 2 completes a two-of-a-kind on line 1, paying 0.06.

Who it suits

Achilles works for players who like readable line slots with a clear paytable and no clutter. The two-symbol pays keep small wins trickling in, while the 10,000 for five wilds is what the game is really about. Playing all 20 lines at a low line bet is usually a better idea than a few lines at a high bet, because the wild can only help on lines you are paying for.
