Aztec's Treasure on 3Win8: Up to 25 Free Games with Tripled Prizes

Aztec's Treasure is a 20-line slot set in a moonlit temple city, with purple stone and gold symbols. Most of its help page is about the free games, so this page is too: how the feature starts, what changes inside it, and what you can (and cannot) do to shape it.

What triggers the free games

The scatter is a golden idol mask, and it pays anywhere on the reels. Three, four or five idols pay 2, 15 or 100 times the total bet and start 5, 15 or 25 free games respectively.

That gap is large. Three idols is a short feature; five is a long one. There is nothing you can do to steer it, but it explains why two Aztec's Treasure features can feel completely different.

Inside the feature

The help page lists three rules that make the free games worth waiting for:

1. All prizes are tripled, apart from the idol bonus prize.
2. Each idol that lands pays a bonus prize equal to the triggering bet.
3. Idols add more spins: 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 idols in a free game give 1, 2, 5, 15 or 25 extra free games.

The free games run at the lines and bet of the trigger spin. If you drop to a few lines just before a trigger, the whole feature plays on those few lines.

Symbols that feed the feature

• Aztec King, the wild, lands on reels 2, 3 and 4 and substitutes for everything except the idols.
• Aztec princess with the green headdress is the top payer: 5,000 for five and a small pay for as few as one or two.
• Jaguar pays 2,500 for five, eagle warrior 1,000.
• Gold necklace and gold headpiece share a box: 500 / 75 / 15.
• A and K pay 200 / 25 / 10, Q and J 150 / 20 / 5, 10 and 9 100 / 15 / 5.

With tripled prizes in the feature, a line of princesses or jaguars during free games is where the big numbers come from.

Bet panel and a small-budget approach

Controls are Lines and Bet (per line), each with a slider, then the total. 20 lines at 0.10 costs 2.00. In the last screenshot, 5 lines at 0.04 (0.20 a spin) paid 0.20 when the Aztec King completed two eagle warriors on line 5.

For a RM30 to RM50 session, keep all 20 lines on at 0.01 or 0.02 per line. It costs less per spin than 5 lines at a higher bet, and the feature, when it comes, covers the full set of lines.
