Panther Moon on ACE333: Owls, Wolves and a Black Panther on 15 Lines

Panther Moon is one of the older Playtech-style slots in the ACE333 lobby. It is a night scene in deep purple: a full moon over a lake, animals in round portraits, and a black panther that sits in the corner of the reels waiting to be useful. Nothing moves much, and that is part of its appeal.

Reading the reels

Five reels, three rows, and fifteen line markers down each side (4, 2, 12, 10, 1, 11, 13, 3, 5 on the left; 14, 2, 9, 6, 1, 7, 8, 3, 15 on the right). The highlighted marker shows which lines are active.

Symbol breakdown

The screen splits into three groups:

• The panther: a black panther head with yellow eyes on a blue tile. In the ten screenshots it only ever lands on reel 5. In Playtech's original the panther is the Wild, and it looks the same here.
• The moon Scatter: a full moon over a purple lake with the word SCATTER. It lands on reels 1, 2, 4 and 5 in these shots.
• Animals and plants: a white barn owl on a green disc, a wolf howling in a pink circle, a green-and-gold moth, a red jungle flower and a blue water lily.
• Card ranks: A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 in chunky silver letters. They take up about half the screen on most spins.

The owl and the wolf are the two you will notice most, because they are big and bright against the dark background. The flowers and the moth are easy to confuse at speed.

Free games

In Playtech's version, three or more moon Scatters start a round of free games with multiplied wins. The screenshots show single Scatters and one spin with two, but never three, so the ACE333 bonus screen is not pictured here.

Above the reels are the same Major, Random and Minor meters you see across this lobby. The Random figure climbs slowly (13,581 to 13,590 over these spins), while Major and Minor jump around.

Lines and bet

The bottom panel is standard ACE333: Current Balance, Lines minus/plus, Bet minus/plus, Win, Auto Start and Spin. The first screenshot shows all 15 lines with the Bet box at 1.20; the rest are on 1 line at 0.01, with the balance falling a cent per spin from 27.34.

On one line most panther and owl combinations simply do not count. If you are testing the game with a few ringgit, it makes more sense to keep all 15 lines and drop the bet per line as low as it goes.

Pacing

Panther Moon is quiet and repetitive in a way some players like after a noisy Chinese-themed slot. Give it a fixed number of spins rather than chasing the free games.
