Silent Samurai on ACE333: Nine Lines, the Gamble Dice and What Pays

Silent Samurai is a quiet, tidy slot: cream reels, a gold frame with dragons curled at each corner, and nine paylines. The nine lines

The first screenshot draws every line at once, in purple, cyan, yellow, green and pink zigzags. The markers down the sides read 4, 8, 2, 6, 1, 7, 3, 9, 5. Lines is set to 9 and Bet to 0.90.

After that the session drops to 1 line at 0.01, which is the setting in the rest of the screenshots.

What is on the reels

The picture symbols sit on coloured tiles:

• The samurai: a warrior with a red headband and a sword over his shoulder. He only shows up once in these shots, on reel 1.
• The geisha: white face, red lips, flowers in her hair.
• The golden dragon: a gold dragon head against a red wave pattern.
• The war hat: a black-and-gold jingasa-style hat with a red three-comma crest, on a yellow tile. It lands stacked, filling most of reels 1, 2 and 5 in one spin.
• The bronze coin: an old square-holed coin.

The low symbols are card ranks written to look like Japanese brush lettering: a purple A, a gold K, an orange Q, a red J and a blue 10. The Q and K look like kanji at first glance, which is part of the charm.

The Gamble button

Three gold Ks on line 1 give the win shown below. The header says "You won 1 lines" and "You won 0.05 on line 1", the Win box shows 0.05 and the balance moves up to 27.24. At the same moment a Gamble button with two red dice pops up on reel 5.

Gamble lets you risk that win on a guess to try to double it. It is optional. If you are playing a small balance, the sensible default is to ignore it and spin again, because one wrong guess takes back the win entirely.

Silent Samurai versus the Live22 samurai slots
