Samurai Hero is the cheerful one of the two samurai slots on Live22. Everything is drawn in a chibi cartoon style: big-headed samurai, a grinning sumo wrestler, a ninja peeking out of a black hood. It runs 25 lines, carries a Tokyo badge in the corner, and its best feature is a pagoda WILD that fills a whole reel. That wild is what this page is about.

The Bonus symbol is a red torii gate in front of Mount Fuji with "Start" above and "Bonus" below. It sat on reel five in our first screenshot; we did not collect enough to see the bonus round.
Coloured flags down both sides carry the line numbers 1 to 25, so a winning line is easy to follow.
Full-reel pagoda WILDs
The WILD drops as a tall panel covering all three rows: a pagoda against a rising sun with a wave curling at its base, "WILD" written vertically in gold. Because it fills the reel, every line crossing that reel counts it.
One wild on reel four linked two sumo wrestlers on reels one and three into a 60 win on a Total Bet of 25.
Two wild reels side by side are where things get good. With WILDs on reels three and four, sumo wrestlers on reels one and two connected on several lines at once and the spin paid 180, over seven times the stake.
Without the wilds, wins are modest. Three geishas and three oni masks on separate lines added up to 51.
Setting the bet
The panel has blue arrows either side of Total Bet (we played at 100 and 25), Max Bet, the win window, Auto Spin and Spin. At 25 the stake works out to one credit per line, which is the sensible way to learn the game. The Grand, Major, Minor and Mini meters above the reels are shared with the rest of this jackpot frame.
