Zhao Cai Jin Bao (Zao Chai Jin Bao) on ACE333: Reading the Reels on Your First Spins

Zhao Cai Jin Bao (招财进宝) is the New Year wish "bring in wealth, let in treasure". The ACE333 lobby spells it Zao Chai Jin Bao, but the game title on the reels reads Zhao Cai Jin Bao. It is a nine-line slot with cream reels, red lanterns down the sides and every lucky animal you would find on a CNY greeting card.

The first screen

When it loads you see five reels of three rows, nine line numbers down each side (4, 6, 2, 8, 1, 9, 3, 7, 5), and the ACE333 top bar with Major, Random and Minor meters. The Dollar Ball badge sits top left marked ENABLE, and a red Progressive Jackpot ticker runs across the title.

The bottom panel is the standard one for this lobby: Current Balance, Lines, Bet, Win, Auto Start and Spin. The whole session in these screenshots runs on 1 line at 0.01, with the balance moving from 26.56 to 26.52.

The picture symbols

• Golden lion: a snarling gold guardian lion, the top symbol.
• Dragon: a gold dragon on a sky-blue background.
• Phoenix: an orange phoenix with a long tail.
• Koi: two red koi circling each other with pink blossoms.
• Gold ingot: a gold yuanbao on a blue tile, the Scatter.
• God of Wealth: Cai Shen in a red hat, holding a gold ruyi. He is the Wild, and shows up on reel 4 in one of these shots.

The decorated card ranks

The low symbols are card ranks, each carrying a small lucky object. Once you know them, the screen gets much easier to read:

• A in blue with a red packet.
• K in pink with an old coin.
• Q in green with a pearl.
• J in purple with a red fan.
• 10 in orange with a nest of gold eggs.
• 9 in teal with a peach.

ACE333 versus SKY777

SKY777 has the same game with the same art but a completely different interface, including a Turbo switch, a Denomination setting and a paytable screen. The ACE333 build wraps it in the Playtech-style frame instead, which adds Dollar Ball and the three meters.

Who it suits
