The Majestic TAJ on Live22: An Indian Palace Slot with a Taj Mahal Wild and a Gold Symbol Ladder

The Majestic TAJ sets its reels inside a golden Mughal arch, with a lit palace reflected in a river on the left and a full moon on the right. It is part of the Live22 jackpot family (the corner badge says Guangzhou), but it adds something the others in this lobby do not have: a Gold Symbol ladder running under the reels. This page goes through the symbols first, then that ladder.

Symbols and what they look like

The premium portraits are framed in round medallions:

• Princess in a red and gold sari with a jewelled headpiece
• Tiger, face-on
• Elephant in a jewelled head-dress
• Peacock with its tail fanned
• Cobra rising, on a green background

The Taj Mahal is the wild: a white palace in a silver frame, which gets a "WILD" label when it lands. A jewelled ornament with a blue stone also appears. The Jackpot symbol shows the elephant-headed god Ganesha on a lotus, with "Jackpot" in gold. The card ranks 9 to A carry small crowns, gems and shields.

The Gold Symbol ladder

Below the reels there is a strip of five gold boxes marked 1 Gold Symbol, 2 Gold Symbol, and so on up to 5. Next to them are small icons of the five premium portraits in a fixed order: cobra, peacock, tiger, elephant, princess.

In all of our screenshots the first box is lit and the rest are dim. The layout strongly suggests that the ladder decides how many of the premium symbols become gold versions with better pays, climbing from one to five over the course of play. We did not see it move, so treat that as our reading of the screen and confirm it with the i button.

Wins in our session

The win readout shows the paying symbol and the amount rather than a line number, for example a peacock icon with "Wins 10". In the spin below, the Taj Mahal wild on reel two joined orange Ks across the first three reels: "K Wins 20", and 40 for the spin in total at a Total Bet of 20.

Blue arrows either side of Total Bet (we used 200 and 20), Max Bet, the win window, Auto Spin, Fast and Spin. The message strip reads "3 jackpot symbols trigger jackpot game", and the four jackpot meters sit above the reels.

Pacing

At 20 per spin, the Taj wild paid for itself in the screenshot above, which is about as good as base-game wins get here. If the Gold Symbol ladder does build over time, a longer session at a small bet makes more sense than a few big spins.
