Great Blue on LPE88: Getting the Bet Right Before You Spin
The LPE88 build of Great Blue opens at RM2.50 a spin because of a 10-coin default. Here is how the bet panel works and how to bring it down.

Great Blue in LPE88 is the Playtech underwater slot, run in a desktop-style window with balances in ringgit. The game itself is well known. What catches people out on LPE88 is the bet panel, which loads with a stake that is ten times what many players expect. Reading the bet panel
From left to right along the bottom:
- Coin value: a round "1" badge with Click to Change and RM0.01.
- Coins per line: a box with minus and plus. It shows 10 by default.
- Lines: 25.
- Line Bet: coin value x coins, so RM0.01 x 10 = RM0.10.
- Total Bet: line bet x lines, so RM0.10 x 25 = RM2.50.
Under those are Info, Auto Start, Lines, Bet per Line, Bet Max and a large pink Spin. Avoid Bet Max unless you mean it.
What RM2.50 a spin does to a balance
The four screenshots are from one short session at the default bet, and the MYR balance in the corner tells the story: RM96.60, then RM89.70, RM85.10 and RM83.80. That is RM12.80 gone over a handful of spins, even though every spin shown paid something.
Those wins were small next to the stake. Two dolphins on line 9 paid RM0.20, and the spin total was RM0.60. A later spin with the "3 or more [shell] wins bonus" message showing paid RM0.40.
The best of the set was an orca wild on reel 3 helping a line for RM1, RM1.20 in total, still under half the stake.
Next to a RM2.50 stake the base game pays small. The bigger results in Great Blue come from the shell bonus, and you cannot tell when that will land.
A saner setting for small balances
Drop the coins per line from 10 to 1 or 2:

Keep all 25 lines. The orca only helps lines you are paying for, and the bonus is sized from your stake, so a low coin count on all lines is better than a high one on a few.
