Streak of Luck on LPE88: The Dice Bonus, the Free Games Ladder and a Stacked Wild

Streak of Luck opens with a welcome card: "The game where a little luck is worth a lot of money. It's simple, fun, and this is how it goes." Then it walks you through the rules with a ladybird on each page. Tick Do not show again once you have read it, or it will greet you every time.

Behind the card is a 50-line Playtech slot full of good-luck charms, a jackpot meter on the right, and a tall ladder of free-games levels that is the main reason to play.

Symbols on a 5 x 4 grid

The reels are four rows tall on a wooden frame. The pictures are good-luck charms from around the world:

• a gold horseshoe on red
• a ladybird on a green leaf
• an acorn
• a lucky cat (maneki-neko) with a raised paw
• a Chinese coin with a square hole
• a fan of playing cards spelling LUCK
• white-and-red dice, which feed the bonus

The low symbols are 9, 10, J, Q, K and A in bright colours.

The wild is a red-haired woman holding a hand of cards, framed in a blue bubble with "Wild" in script. She lands stacked, covering two or three rows of a reel, which is where the useful line wins come from.

The dice bonus and the ladder

A banner over the reels spells out the trigger: dice on reels 1 + 3 + 5 trigger the Dice Bonus. In that screenshot the dice show only on reel 3; you need them on the first, third and fifth reels at the same time.

The ladder on the right shows the levels: 5, 10, 15, 20, 45 and 60 free games. At its foot: All free games with x2 multiplier and random wilds. In the Playtech original the dice roll decides how far up the ladder you climb, and the LPE88 build carries the same ladder.

Check the stake before the first spin

The first two screenshots, taken right after the game opened, show Line Bet RM0.50 and Total Bet RM25 on 50 lines. That is a very high stake for a casual spin. The later screenshots are at RM0.05 a line, RM2.50 a spin, which is more manageable, though still a lot on a RM50 balance. Change it with the minus button before you press Spin.

The jackpot meter also changes with the stake: about RM7,400 at the RM25 bet and about RM1,260 at RM2.50.

Wins at RM2.50 a spin

The three win screenshots paid RM0.90, RM0.50 and RM0.60, each on a RM2.50 stake. All three had the wild in the winning line. That is typical of a 50-line game: many lines connect, but each pays a fraction of the total bet.
