Super Derby on Joker123: Six Horses and a Quinella Board

Super Derby is Joker123's virtual horse race. Six horses, one straight run to the finish, and a single type of bet: the quinella, which means picking the first two horses home in either order. It is a short, repeatable round with a racing-TV look, and it is a lot easier to follow than it first appears.
The betting screen
A big green timer counts down from 30 SEC. Under it, the Quinella board lists every pair of horses from 1-2 to 5-6, fifteen boxes in all, each with its odds.
On the board in the first screenshot the prices were:
- short: 4-6 at x3, 1-2 at x4, 3-6 at x5
- middle: 1-4 at x8, 1-3 at x10, 1-5 at x20, 1-6 at x30
- long: 2-3 at x60, 4-5 at x80, 2-6 at x100, 3-5 at x125, 2-4 at x175, 5-6 at x250, 2-5 at x500
- and 3-4 at x1000
The left panel has two tabs. History shows the last five results with the price each paid (5-6 at x60, 5-4 at x80, 5-3 at x3 and so on), and Stats gives the longer view. The MAX and MIN tags show a table range of 1 to 1,000.
The bottom bar works like other Joker123 tables: UNIT for the chip, CLEAR, UNDO, DOUBLE, TOTAL PLAY, WIN, and CONFIRM to lock the bet in.
The race
Once betting closes the horses load into a gate numbered 6 to 1. A strip along the bottom keeps all fifteen pairs visible, with your bet highlighted (100 on 2-3 at x60 here) and a START to FINISH progress bar.
During the race a marker on the progress bar shows which two horses are currently in front. The pair box that matches lights up with an orange border.
A close finish gets a REPLAY at the line. Here horse 6 took it, so the 2-3 ticket lost and the balance dropped by the 100 staked.
Lucky Bonus and Special Champion
The HOW TO PLAY page explains two random special events. Lucky Bonus multiplies all winnings of that race by the bonus amount shown. Special Champion is a race where two or more horses can finish first at the same time, giving players more winning combinations. Neither can be triggered on purpose.
Staying sensible
Short-priced pairs win more often and pay little. The x500 and x1000 pairs are long shots. Nothing in History or Stats predicts the next race, and a new race every half-minute or so adds up fast. Pick a chip size you are happy to lose a few dozen times.

Questions players ask
What is a quinella?
A bet on the two horses that finish first and second, in either order. If you pick 2-3 and horse 3 wins with horse 2 second, you still collect.
Do the odds stay the same?
The board shows a fresh set of odds for each race, from short prices like x3 to long shots like x1000. Read them during the 30-second window.
What are Lucky Bonus and Special Champion?
Random events. Lucky Bonus multiplies all winnings of the race by the bonus shown. Special Champion is a race where several horses can finish first at the same time, which gives more winning combinations.
