Evil King OX on Live22: The Bull Demon King Slot with a Full-Reel Wild

Evil King OX takes its name from Niu Mo Wang, the Bull Demon King who fights the Monkey King in Journey to the West. On Live22 it is a nine-line slot with a Shanghai badge in the corner, cartoon portraits of the story's cast and a red calligraphy wild that turns reel three into one tall symbol. This page walks through the symbols one by one, because that is where most of the story lives.

Character symbols

The high symbols are round portraits in coloured frames:

• The ox demon himself, a grey bull face with a green-and-red crown
• A child with flame-red hair and a fiery aura, who matches Red Boy, the Bull Demon's son
• A woman in green with ornate hair, very likely Princess Iron Fan, his wife
• A girl with fox ears and purple hair, a nod to the fox spirit in the same chapters

The props are just as story-specific: a green palm-leaf fan (the fan Princess Iron Fan uses to put out the Flaming Mountains), a brown wine jar marked with the character for wine, a roasted drumstick and a golden trident.

The Niu Mo Wang wild

When the wild appears it fills the middle reel from top to bottom with three large characters on cracked stone. Anything on reels two and four then links straight across. In our session drumsticks connected on line 1 through it for a 24 win, at a Total Bet of only 9.

On the next spin the wild stayed on reel three and joined another drumstick line, while a Jackpot volcano symbol sat in the bottom-left corner.

Scatter and Jackpot symbols

Two symbols do not pay on lines. The Scatter shows a small pagoda gate with glowing lava, labelled "Scatter". The Jackpot symbol is an erupting volcano with "Jackpot" written across it. Neither triggered a feature in our screenshots, so we cannot show what happens when three land. The jackpot meters above the reels (Grand, Major, Minor, Mini) follow the same layout as the other city-badge games in this lobby.

Betting and pacing

The panel is teal and purple: minus and plus arrows around Total Bet (we used 9 and 180), Max Bet, the win window, Auto Spin and Spin. The line numbers 4, 2, 6, 9, 1, 8, 7, 3, 5 run down both sides in red circles, so you can trace a win.

With only nine lines, most spins pay nothing, and the wild is what keeps a session alive. Low stakes make sense: at 9 per spin, 23 and 30 wins are already a decent return. If you know the Journey to the West story, it is worth trying for the art alone.
