Live Roulette on NTC33: Football Roulette, Sapphire Room and How the Betting Screen Works
Newtown's live roulette uses a single-zero wheel with RM4 to RM15,000 limits. Here is how the betting screen works, what each bet pays and why a RM2.50 chip gets rejected.

NTC33 (Newtown) runs roulette as a live game: a real wheel, a real dealer and a betting board that takes up most of the phone screen. The screenshots come from two tables, Live Football Roulette and Sapphire Room Roulette. Both use a single-zero wheel and both show limits of RM4 to RM15,000 in the bottom-right corner.
The betting screen
The board is the standard European layout: one green 0, numbers 1 to 36 in red and black, three 2 to 1 column bets on the right, the 1st 12, 2nd 12 and 3rd 12 dozens, and the even-money boxes (1-18, Even, Red, Black, Odd, 19-36).
Under the board:
- the live video in a small window at the bottom left
- a star button for saved favourite bets
- the chip row: 0.50, 1, 5, 10, 25, then 100, 250 and 1K if you scroll
- Undo, Double (x2) or Rebet, and an oval racetrack button for bets on sections of the wheel
- a countdown in a circle above the chips, and the recent results in a strip along the bottom
The RM4 minimum catches people out
The chip row starts at RM0.50, but the table will not accept a bet that small on its own. In the first screenshot a RM2.50 stack on number 7 got the yellow warning Bet below table limit. A RM4 chip on a single number went through with Bet confirmed RM4.
On a RM50 balance that means about twelve single-number bets at the minimum. Treat RM4 as the smallest bet the table will take.

The zero is what the house lives on. With 37 pockets and payouts priced as if there were 36, every one of these bets gives up about 2.7% over time. No betting pattern changes that, doubling systems included.
After each spin the winning number lights up in yellow, along with the outside bets it belongs to. In that round the ball found 23, so 2nd 12, Red, Odd, 19-36 and the middle column were winners.
The two tables
Live Football Roulette has a presenter in a football shirt in front of a stadium graphic and a stats board. It is the same roulette underneath.
Sapphire Room Roulette is a classic casino setting, with the wheel close-up in the video window when the ball drops.
In the Sapphire screenshots a RM4 straight-up on 13 lost to 32, and the balance went from RM46 to RM42. That is roulette at the minimum: one number, one chance in 37.

Questions players ask
Why does NTC33 roulette say 'Bet below table limit'?
The tables in the screenshots have a RM4 minimum. A RM2.50 stack on a single number was refused with that message; RM4 on one number was accepted.
Is NTC33 roulette single-zero or double-zero?
Single zero. The board runs 0 to 36 with one green 0, the European layout, so the house edge is about 2.7% on every standard bet.
