NTC33 (Newtown Casino): Live Dealer Tables First, Slots Second

Every platform on this site has slots. NTC33, also called Newtown Casino or N'Town, is the one people install for the live dealers. Baccarat, blackjack, roulette and a card game called Hi-Lo are streamed from a studio with real dealers, and bets are in ringgit.

There is a big slot catalogue as well, and it is the same Playtech-style list you find on LPE88 and Rollex11. But the tables are what set NTC33 apart, so we start there.

The live tables

All the live games share a frame. Your RM balance is top left with a plus button for the cashier, a chat bubble next to the menu, and the dealer's name and status along the top ("Jazmin: Please wait for the next round"). Your current bet shows bottom right, and a tiny server clock at the bottom shows Malaysian time (GMT+8).

Baccarat

NTC33 Baccarat is the table most players come for. The felt shows Player, Banker and Tie 8:1, plus a side-bet panel: Player Pair and Banker Pair at 11:1, Perfect Pair 25:1, Either Pair 5:1, Big 0.54:1 and Small 1.5:1.

The Big and Small bets are the ones newcomers ask about. In the usual version of this side bet, Small wins when the hand uses only four cards in total and Big when five or six are dealt. The payouts on this table (0.54:1 and 1.5:1) match that, but check the table's help screen before you rely on it.

Underneath the video is the full set of scorecards: Bead Road, Big Road, Big Eye Road, Small Road and Cockroach Road, with running Player, Banker and Tie counts on the right. Some players follow them closely. Remember they show what has happened. The cards have no memory.

Hi-Lo

Hi-Lo is quicker. A dealer shows a card on a row running 2 to A, and you bet Higher, Lower or Snap (same rank), with extra bets on card groups such as 2-3-4-5, 6-7-8-9 and J-Q-K-A. The table we captured had a RM5 minimum and a RM5,000 payout limit.

Blackjack

Live blackjack runs as Zirconia Unlimited Blackjack, limits RM20 to RM200, with green arrows marking open seats and a "Please take a seat" countdown. Our screenshots of it sit on the page filed as NTC33 Jackpot.

Roulette

Roulette comes as Live Football Roulette, with the wheel streamed in a small window and a large betting layout. Chips run 0.50, 1, 5, 10 and 25, with Undo and x2 Double buttons. The limit is RM4 to RM15,000, and the table will not take less: drop a 2.50 chip on a single number and it flags "Bet below table limit".

The slot catalogue

The slot side of NTC33 looks like a desktop casino: a grid of tall tiles, each with a Fun Play and a Real Play button underneath. Fun Play lets you try a game without betting, which is rare among the apps we cover and worth using. Spin a new game in Fun Play for a few minutes to learn its bet panel and bonus screen, then switch to Real Play only if you still like it.

Builds and devices

The 2018 download page listed four options: an Android APK for slots, a separate Android APK for live games, a Windows client and a web version. There was no iPhone app. If the live tables do not show up on Android, you probably installed only the slot build.

Live video needs a steady connection. A frozen stream does not pause the round, so play the tables on Wi-Fi if you can. The NTC33 download page explains the builds and what installing them involves.

Getting an NTC33 game ID

NTC33 has no sign-up screen. Agents create the ID, top up the RM balance and process withdrawals. If you want to try it, get an NTC33 game ID through our partner. We are not an agent and never handle player money.

In 2018 the usual terms were a RM30 minimum top-up and RM50 minimum withdrawal. Those were 2018 figures; ask what applies now.

Before you sit at a live table

1. Watch a few rounds first. Every table lets you watch without betting. Use it to learn the layout and check your stream is smooth.
2. Read the limits. Minimums differ a lot, from RM4 on football roulette to RM20 on blackjack. Pick a table your balance can survive.
3. Try Fun Play on slots. It costs nothing and shows you how the bet panel works.
4. Ignore the roads as a system. Patterns in the Big Road are history, not a forecast.
5. Get the agent's rules in writing, including any turnover requirement.

NTC33 is not licensed in Malaysia, and there is no regulator to go to if something goes wrong. Set a budget before the first hand, and open your NTC33 account only with money you can afford to lose.
