Captain Roger is a straightforward pirate slot in the Playboy Casino (also written Play8oy) app: five reels, three rows, nine lines and a sea horizon behind the reels. Where it earns a closer look is the Odds Table, which is more generous with the premium symbols than many 9-line games.
What you see on the reels
The line numbers 1 to 9 sit in coloured circles down both sides of the reel frame. Across the top are four jackpot meters (Grand, Major, Minor and Mini) that tick up while you play; in three screenshots taken minutes apart the Grand moved from 118845 to 118880.
The bottom panel reads Lines 9, Play 10 (with - and + buttons) and Total Play 90. Play is your bet per line, and Total Play is simply lines times Play. The big green Spin button doubles as autospin if you hold it.
The Odds Table, symbol by symbol
The table lists what each symbol pays for 1 to 5 in a row, as a multiple of the line bet:
- Blue-coat captain (the one in the tricorn hat): 5000 for five, 500 for four, 50 for three, 5 for two, and even 2 for a single one.
- Red-bearded captain: 2500 / 250 / 25 / 4 for two.
- Female pirate in the red skull bandana: 1000 / 100 / 20 / 3 for two.
- Pirate monkey in a striped shirt: 1000 / 100 / 20 / 2 for two.
- Parrot and cannon: 300 / 50 / 10.
- Gold skull coin and crossed pistols: 200 / 25 / 5.
- Anchor and spyglass: 50 / 10 / 3.
Four symbols paying on two of a kind is what keeps the balance ticking on small wins. The win in our screenshot shows it working: two female pirates on line 8 at 10 per line paid exactly 30. The single-symbol pay on the blue captain is unusual, so it is worth watching the win strip when one lands on reel one.
The Scatter
The pirate ship framed in gold, labelled "Scatter", appeared on reel one in our first screenshot. The free-games rule is not shown in the captures, so check the i page for how many ships you need and what they award.
Pacing on a small budget
With nine fixed lines, the only real lever is Play. At 10 per line you are spending 90 a spin; dropping Play lowers every payout in proportion but gives you many more spins to find a captain combination. That is the sensible way to use a paytable where the big numbers sit on five-of-a-kind premiums.

To the line bet. Two female pirates on line 8 paid 30 with Play set to 10, which is the x2 value of 3 multiplied by 10.
