Two things stand out. The warship and catapult pay on just two of a kind, which helps small wins tick over. And the jump from 4 to 5 of a kind on the warship (150 to 4000) is huge, so most of the game's upside sits in that one line.
The expanding Spartan wild
The Spartan in the bronze helmet and red cloak is labelled WILD. The paytable says he appears on reels 2, 3 and 4, expands to fill the reel and substitutes for everything except the Scatter. A full wild reel in the middle connects many of the 30 lines at once.
In these spins the wild covered a reel each time and completed lines of card symbols, paying 0.80, 0.30 and 0.65 on a 0.30 bet.
