Monkey Story in the Mega888 lobby is a betting game, not a slot. A ring of round portraits from Journey to the West surrounds a scenic map, Sun Wukong flies around it on his cloud, and the round ends when he stops on one face. Your job is to guess which face, and in which colour. Everything depends on reading the odds board, so that is where this page starts.
The room screen
Before the board opens you see the room header. The one in the screenshots is Online Monkey Plus, with a round countdown timer (at 0 when captured) and a history strip of past results: small character icons with PLAYER or BANK under each. One entry is marked 牛魔王全中 ("Bull Demon King, all hit"), which looks like a special result where every bull bet pays; check the help screen for the exact rule.
The odds board
The bottom half of the betting screen is a grid. Each tile shows a character, its multiplier, your bet and the total on it.

The right-hand column holds three side bets: BANK x2, TIE x9 and PLAYER x2. These follow a small face-off between two character cards shown in a green box at the side of the ring; the history strip records which side won each round.
The pattern is easy to read. Bull tiles are cheap and common, Wukong tiles are rare and pay big, and yellow always pays more than red for the same character. A higher multiplier just means a less likely result.
A round in motion
Once bets are in, the message Bets sent Successfully pops up. The board slides away and Wukong flies around the ring. When he stops, the result shows in a round medallion in the centre (a bull, then a child in the screenshots) and a BANK, TIE or PLAYER label appears for the side bet.
Chips and controls
A Chips button bottom left sets the chip value (50 in the screenshots). Next to it are Balance, Bet and Win. The Auto Rebet toggle above the ring repeats your last bets each round, which is convenient and also the fastest way to burn through a balance.
Betting sensibly
Spreading chips across many tiles feels safe but just guarantees several losing bets each round. Pick one or two, keep to one chip, and treat the Wukong tiles as long shots. No pattern in the history strip predicts the next stop.
