Funky Monkey in Playboy Casino (Play8oy): Betting on a Six-Monkey Pole Race

Funky Monkey in the Playboy Casino (also written Play8oy) app shares a name with an old Playtech slot, but this is something else entirely: a quick race game. Six cartoon monkeys, numbered 1 to 6 and coloured red, grey, yellow, green, blue and purple, climb red poles in front of a Chinese temple. You bet on which two reach the top first.

The betting board

Each round opens with a countdown ("Next game will start in 59 sec"). The board behind it is a grid of 15 pairs, one tile for every combination from 1-2 to 5-6, and each tile shows its multiplier for that round. In the round we captured:

• 1-2 x8, 1-3 x500, 1-4 x200, 1-5 x1000, 1-6 x175
• 2-3 x100, 2-4 x20, 2-5 x10, 2-6 x3
• 3-4 x4, 3-5 x80, 3-6 x60
• 4-5 x125, 4-6 x5, 5-6 x30

The spread tells you who the favourites are. Pairs like 2-6 (x3) and 3-4 (x4) are expected; 1-5 at x1000 is a long shot. The numbers change every round.

On the right are three side bets, Bank x2, Tie x9 and Player x2, and the Last Results column on the left lists the previous five races with the winning pair and whether Bank or Player won. The table limits read Min 50 and Max 360000.

Placing a bet

Choose a chip (50 in our screenshots), tap tiles, and press Confirm. The game answers with "Bets sent Successfully" and Total Play updates. Undo removes the last chip, Double doubles the board, and the left button toggles between Rebet and Clear.

Watching the race

When betting closes, the scene switches to the poles. The odds strip along the bottom keeps your chosen pair highlighted (2-4 at x20 here), and a Bank/Tie/Player badge on the right shows the side-bet result forming.

In our race the grey 2 and blue 5 hit the Finish line first, so the 2-5 tile at x10 paid and the side bet went to Bank. The 50 on 2-4 lost.

How to approach it

Treat it like a small horse-race card. The x3 to x8 pairs come in often enough to keep a session alive; the x500 and x1000 pairs are lottery tickets.
